altA woman that was dumb enough to steal credit card information from celebrities including Jennifer Aniston, Liv Tyler, Cher and Ann Hathaway has been sentenced for her crimes.

A Beverly Hills salon owner was arrested back in August under the name Maria Gabriella Perez for keeping the credit card information and using over $300,000 in unauthorized credit from her celebrity clients.

The crook, now known as Maria Gabriella Hashemipour, was facing some stiff punishment of up to 25 years in prison. She was charged with two count s of device fraud with alleged charges including an estimated $214,000 on two of Liv Tyler’s American Express credit cards during the course of five months.

Many are saying that the court went too easy on her as she has received no jail time. Instead she has been sentenced to five years probation and nine months of house arrest. She has also been assigned to 3,000 hours of community service.

The salon owner is scheduled to be back in court for another hearing which will decide her restitution. The date of the hearing is scheduled for October 17, 2011. She could be made to pay back all of the money she stole from her celebrity clients.
