altNEW YORK, Dec 08, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Express is adding Seamless, the nation's leading digital service for ordering delivery and takeout food, to its Blue Savings Program. Eligible Cardmembers will receive a $10 statement credit for every four orders of $15 or more they make using the Seamless.com website or iPhone(R), Android(TM), and Blackberry(R) apps.

To be eligible for the statement credit, Cardmembers must enroll in the offer at www.americanexpress.com/bluedining with a Blue from American Express(R), Blue Cash(R), Blue Cash Everyday(SM), Blue Cash Preferred(SM), Blue Sky(R), or Blue Sky Preferred(R) Card from American Express and charge all qualifying purchases with the enrolled Card. Cardmembers can receive up to $120 in statement credits now through October 31, 2012.

"We're pleased to join the Blue Savings Program and add to the valuable rewards American Express provides to its Cardmembers every day. Many of our customers are already American Express (R) Cardmembers and will find immediate value through this offer. We also look forward to introducing our service to new customers through American Express," said Jonathan Zabusky, CEO of Seamless.

In the spirit of making the entire purchase experience "seamless," the $10 credit will automatically appear on Cardmembers' statements.

"We're thrilled to partner with a growing digital platform like Seamless," said Peter Likoudis, VP of Proprietary Lending Cards at American Express. "Cardmembers participating in our Blue Savings Program can now receive rewards for simply ordering food from their favorite restaurants, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner."

The Blue Savings Program from American Express offers eligible Cardmembers additional money-saving offers including hotel room upgrades and food and beverage credits at the following merchants: Enterprise Rent-A-Car(R), Alamo(R) car rental, Hertz(R) car rental, 1800Baskets.com(R), 1800Flowers.com(R), Atlantis Paradise Island, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Fleming's(R) Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants.
