Square Mobile Payment System to Be Sold at Wal-Mart Stores

altThe mobile payment device that can be held in the palm of one hand and attached to many mobile devices to process payments will now be available for sale at your local Wal-Mart.

Square has announced that it has rapidly increased the number of merchants to include Best Buy, Target, Apple and now Wal-Mart stores making the device obtainable by nearly anyone that wishes to utilize its services.

As many as 50,000 new merchants have been added each month since the unveiling of this revolutionary product and that number is expected to increase exponentially thanks to the growing availability of the Square device.

Since last month, Square has been funded with over $100 million and is growing at a rapid pace. Since the company’s major growth spurt, Square has processed nearly $4 million in mobile credit card payments each day and that number is expected to surpass $1 billion by the end of the year.
